As Shred Vault® continues to gear up for expansion, the company has quietly filled three key leadership positions in as many months.

July of 2025 saw the addition of James Hood, who joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Shred Vault, Hood served in a number of technology and leadership roles, including as the

president of Omaha-based Home Instead. Having risen to the position after serving as the Chief Information Officer for Home Instead, Hood oversaw the franchise expansion to morethan 1,200 global locations before it was eventually acquired by Honor Technology, Inc.

In August, Robert Johnson, CIPP//US/E, joined to lead Shred Vault’s service expansion strategy. Prior to joining the company, Johnson founded and served as CEO of the international secure media destruction industry trade association (NAID) for 27 years. During his 27-year tenure, NAID grew to represent more than 2,500 secure media destruction locations globally, while at the same time architecting the world’s most accepted secure media destruction operations certification.

Additionally, Greg O’Kief joined Shred Vault in September as General Counsel and Chief of Staff, bringing over 30 years of experience in corporate and commercial law and executive leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Counsel at the former Gavilon Group, LLC, a global agricultural commodities leader , and was previously a shareholder at McGrath North Mullin & Kratz law firm. O’Kief’s expertise spans corporate structuring and governance, global strategy execution, and corporate compliance, all of which are critical for driving Shred Vault’s growth and stakeholder confidence.
