Brian has 25 years of leadership in the data destruction and recycling industries. He began his entrepreneurial journey as co-founder and President of First Star Fiber, where he built one of the region’s largest materials recovery operations. He later acquired several small electronics recycling companies, transforming them into DataShield into one of the largest independent data destruction firms in the country. His success and ongoing community involvement earned him recognition as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Midland Business Journal.

As Founder and CEO of Shred Vault, Brian has spent several years inventing and perfecting the company’s multi-patented kiosk system. He now leads the global deployment of this innovative solution, making secure shredding more accessible and sustainable. Brian’s work ethic is rooted in service, reflected in his leadership roles with numerous regional organizations including the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, the Platte Institute, Entrepreneur Organization of Nebraska. His vision continues to shape Shred Vault’s growth and impact.

James is a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience in technical and operational leadership across the healthcare and technology industries. He joins Shred Vault after serving as Chief Operating Officer at CyncHealth, the designated health information exchange (HIE) for Nebraska and western Iowa. There, he helped lead the organization into a new era of health data accessibility and innovation, supporting over 5 million lives and more than 1,100 healthcare facilities.

Prior to CyncHealth, James spent a decade at the global headquarters of Home Instead, the world’s largest home care brand, where he held roles including President, Global CIO, and VP of IT. He led the modernization of IT systems and scaled operational platforms supporting over 600 domestic franchise businesses. His earlier career includes leadership roles in telecommunications and transportation, following a degree in Applied Computer Science from St. Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering and Aviation. At Shred Vault, James brings a strategic mindset and operational rigor to help scale the company’s infrastructure and deliver exceptional customer value.

Bob leads Shred Vault’s licensing and operational strategy. As the founder of NAID (National Association for Information Destruction), the global trade organization for the data destruction industry, he shaped and served the industry for three decades. During his tenure, Bob architected the most widely recognized data disposition certification standard in the world, setting the benchmark for secure information destruction practices.

In addition to his operational leadership, Bob is a frequent speaker and author on data protection, privacy regulations, and compliance strategy. He isan IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States and Europe (CIPP/US/E). His deep expertise and thought leadership continue to guide Shred Vault’s growth and ensure its services meet the highest standards of confidentiality and reliability

With over 15 years of leadership experience in the information protection and destruction industry, Matt brings extensive operational leadership to Shred Vault. He has a proven ability to design and manage scalable systems that enhance efficiency, strengthen partner performance, and deliver consistent results across a national network.

His expertise lies in optimizing processes, improving service delivery, and aligning operations with strategic goals. By combining industry knowledge with a disciplined approach to execution, Matt ensures Shred Vault maintains its reputation for reliability, innovation, and excellence in customer and partner support.

Since 2000, Shannon has served in executive leadership roles where she has consistently built high-performing teams and thriving workplace cultures. At Shred Vault, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the internal environment, ensuring that integrity, collaboration, and purpose are woven into every aspect of the organization.

Drawing on her extensive background in organizational development and community engagement, Shannon excels at identifying talent, developing leaders, and creating opportunities for employees to succeed. Arne plays a key role in Shred Vault’s retail expansion strategy, leveraging decades of experience in retail partnerships and location analytics. As Managing Partner at Thomas-Hendrickson Inc., he has led national placement initiatives for multiple kiosk-based networks, helping companies identify high-traffic retail environments that maximize visibility and customer engagement. His expertise spans site selection, lease negotiation, and strategic rollout planning, making him a vital contributor to Shred Vault’s growth.

Arne’s understanding of consumer behavior and retail dynamics has helped shape Shred Vault’s approach to kiosk deployment, ensuring location alignment with customer convenience and brand.

Jim brings 25 years of leadership in the information destruction industry, beginning in 1995 as co-founder and President of Shred All—one of Iowa’s first mobile shredding companies. Under his direction, Shred All expanded into four neighboring states, operating six facilities and becoming one of the Midwest’s largest independent document destruction firms before its acquisition by Iron Mountain Records Management.

Jim’s career spans executive management and startup leadership across document and product destruction, recycling, and restoration services. He has played a pivotal role in the development of Shred Vault, contributing to its patented kiosk system and secure bag tracking technology. As Strategic Advisor, Jim continues to shape Shred Vault’s brand and business development, leveraging his decades of experience to support the company’s mission of secure, sustainable shredding made accessible to all.

Chris Lowry, CPA, is a seasoned financial professional with more than a decade of experience spanning both public accounting and the private sector. At Shred Vault, he provides strategic financial leadership to strengthen operations, ensure compliance, and support the company’s continued growth.

Chris specializes in cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, process optimization, risk mitigation, and audit oversight. His expertise and guidance help Shred Vault navigate complex financial challenges while positioning the company for scalable, sustainable success.
